DIN 3017-2 "S" Clamps
DIN 3017-2 hose clamps provide high clamping forces and optimum sealing advantages and also perform excellent hose protection by inner bridge support especially on hose installations.
These hose clamps called in the sector as “S clamps” and due to above advantages, they can be used also an alternative to worm drive clamps on high pressure hose fitting applications.
DIN 3017-2 “S” clamps are engineered for high-pressure hose and pipe assemblies where a standard worm-drive band cannot deliver enough compression. A forged saddle bridge distributes load evenly, while a patented mechanical riveting system (unique to our factory) replaces traditional welds and boosts salt-spray resistance.
Select galvanized steel (W1) for cost-effective indoor lines or AISI 316 stainless-steel (W5) for offshore and food-grade duty. With band widths up to 20 mm and round, deburred edges, these double hose clamps secure the connection without cutting into the hose cover.
