DIN 3016-1 Retaining Clamps
Retaining clamps called in the sector “P clips” are manufactured according to DIN 3016 standards. These rubber lined clamps can be used for fixing hydraulic pipes, hoses and cables especially in application areas of hose clamps and pipe clamps.
There is reinforced band over the fixing hole and it prevents the clamp from tearing on heavy duty applications. EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile and Silicone rubber lining alternatives and without rubber types of P clips are also available.
DIN 3016-1 retaining clamps – often called P clips or RSGU clamps – secure pipes, hoses, cables and conduit wherever vibration, heat or movement could cause failure. A U-shaped steel band surrounds the line while an EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Silicone or Viton rubber profile cushions against abrasion and noise.
For corrosive or hygiene-critical duties you can choose AISI 304/W4 or AISI 316/W5 stainless steel pipe clamps; cost-efficient galvanized pipe clamps (W1) cover standard indoor work. Band ends are re-inforced near the fixing hole to resist tearing in heavy-duty use. From HVAC closets to offshore skids, these compact yet rugged fasteners keep systems safe and tidy.
